MMA welding offers many advantages. The materials must not be preheated and can be directly welded to the desired positions. Workpieces of different thickness can be linked easily with each other. Thanks to the high temperature of the arc, even a 10 x 10 mm square steel can be welded with a 3 mm plate. Such constructions and compounds occur constantly in practice, for example as the construction of a railing, making a fence or in the repair of agricultural machinery. Often U-profiles are to be welded to thinner parts. MMA welding offer a wide range of applications in industry, craft, private gardening and construction.

What types of electrodes can be used:
1 ) Unalloyed steels TYP R3, A5 und AR 7

2) For sheets up to 3 mm electrode R3 - diameter 1, 5 mm, 2, 00mm, 2, 5 mm.

3) For stronger materials electrode R3 - diameter 3, 25 mm and 4, 00 mm.

4) V-welds and pipes/tubes should be welded with electrodes A5 and AR7
